The Armenian developers, Peter & Sons, once again prove to us how competent they are in the audiovisual department by demonstrating their expertise once more. 'Valkyries' is loosely based on the famous Wagner opera, Die Walküre, and it takes place on a beautifully crafted opera theatre stage on which the game is set. As far as the animations and the opera singing ladies are concerned, all of these have been choreographed masterfully, and you do not have to be a huge fan of opera to enjoy what's going on here.

 

It's hardly the same when you turn off the sound to get the most out of Valkyries since it's not the same with the sounds turned off if you want to get the most out of it. It is important to note that the Power Reel serves as an excellent compensation for near-misses on 2 scatters since this usually results in several Dropping Wilds and Locking Wild respins that often result in decent payouts in the base game. When the Power Reel is active on all free spins, everything is enhanced, and when the Power Reel is active on all free spins, you will be in the best position to win 20,000x.

 

 

 

As the Wild symbol, it will substitute for all pay symbols to help you complete winning combinations, and it is also the most valuable symbol in the game. We doubt the average slot player has a great deal of interest in classic opera, and neither do we for that matter. However, even with that in mind, Peter and his highly competent sons have done an outstanding job here, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them work. When it comes to video slots, Valkyries is nothing short of an audio visual masterpiece, and the combination of dropping wilds and locking multiplier wilds can be highly effective on a good day.

 

Would it be enough to convert hordes of hardcore gamblers into avid opera fans overnight? It's difficult to not enjoy this beautifully crafted instalment unless you're very anti-opera. It has a Wes Anderson vibe to it, with breath taking choreography. It's not over until the fat lady sings, and she's singing at 20,000x your stake in this highly volatile and unique Peter & Sons show.
